甲基叔丁基醚 Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE)

甲基叔丁基醚（MTBE）为无色、透明、易挥发液体，具有醚样气味，是最主流的高辛烷值汽油添加剂与抗爆剂（含氧量约 18.2%）。微溶于水，与汽油、乙醇、乙醚等多数有机溶剂互溶。

Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) is a colorless, clear, volatile liquid with an ether-like odor. It is the most widely used high-octane gasoline additive and antiknock agent (oxygen content ≈18.2%). Slightly soluble in water; miscible with gasoline, ethanol, ether and most organic solvents.

本品亦可通过高温裂解再生高纯异丁烯（橡胶、化工原料），并作为溶剂用于石蜡、香料、树脂、天然与合成橡胶、塑料、油脂及药物中间体；亦在色谱（如高效液相色谱）中作为溶剂使用。

It can be cracked to regenerate high-purity isobutylene (rubber/chemical feedstock) and is used as a solvent for paraffin, fragrances, resins, natural/synthetic rubbers, plastics and fats, and as a pharmaceutical intermediate; also a solvent in chromatography (e.g. HPLC).
